Nickel Bay Nick

Nickel Bay Nick
Nickel Bay Nick is a beautiful holiday book for lower and middle school.

NBN. November 10. 2015
We start in the little town of Nickel Bay. A troublemaking boy named Sam has a father whose bakery is going out of business. His mother is becoming remarried, which is, of course, devastating to him. One fateful day, Christmas Eve, coincidentally, Sam accidentally knocks down his neighbor's Christmas decorations. He is then thrust into a world of espionage and secrets, finding out Nickel Bay's biggest secret-- Who is Nickel Bay Nick?

This book is amazing and I would recommend this to anyone who likes action but some good, heartfelt Christmas spirit!

A Dog's Purpose

A Dog's Purpose
This book is a must-have for every bookshelf. Great for kids and adults, this book illustrates what a dog can do, and, of course, what a dog's purpose is. Although this can be classified as "one of those sad dog books", it leaves you with a sweet feeling, whereas most "sad dog books" leave you with tears.

During the story, we follow a dog being reborn and renamed and given new jobs and new owners, all the while thinking of his first-- and last-- owner, Ethan.

This is one of the best books I have read and I would highly recommend this to anyone, even those who aren't big readers!
